ROB RICHARDSON

Independent Support Worker

Rob has worked and volunteered in the social and community services sector for the past 20 years in a variety of different roles across Gippsland. This has provided him with vast experience working with families, children and young people across a range of areas including education, early childhood, mental health, and disability.
Rob has a Bachelor of Social Welfare and bachelor of Arts/psychology and has attended numerous professional and personal development training sessions throughout his career which has provided him with a strong understanding of the issues that face individuals and communities and evidence based support practices.
Rob is passionate about working with people and supporting them to make positive steps towards their individual goals, this has driven his choice to become an independent support worker and he is looking forward to working with children and families across Gippsland
In his spare time Rob enjoys spending time with his family, playing and listening to music, collecting vinyl albums of his favourite bands and watching Movies and Television shows.

TRENTON TOBIAS

Independent Support Worker

Trent is 48 years old married with two adult children that has worked and volunteered with youth and families over the past 22 years. Trent is currently working as a family services practitioner and enjoys the challenges the role brings each and every day.
Trent has had a vast array of positions over his 30 year working life. Trent  has been involved in the hospitality, building and Community service industries. These positions have given Trent a broad knowledge and a wide array of life skills.
Trent is seen as an honest hard-working person that will try and make the best of any situation.
Trent has been involved with sporting organisations like surf lifesaving Victoria, the Australian clay target Association where he has undertaken coaching roles with youth within these sports.
Trent is originally from South Gippsland and enjoys the sites and attractions that South Gippsland has to offer.
The hobbies and recreational activities  Trent enjoys are fishing, clay target shooting, watching movies, cooking, driving, sightseeing and walking along the high tide line of the beaches exploring.
